Show Me on the Doll Where Saxby Chambliss Touched You
Have you seen this Thanksgiving campaign ad from Saxby Chambliss where he steals second base from his tween granddaughter?
You might think Chambliss's Senate challenger Jim Martin would be wise to pounce on this and insinuate the Georgia Republican is a child molester, but that would be classless. It would just lower the discourse.
No, Martin should take the high road here and just cut some ads associating Chambliss with Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein.

Ok…look…..I'm a dem….voted for Barack….loathe the Bushies, the right…but this is a cheap shot. To insinuate that Chambliss is a molester or whatever from this campaign ad is in league with the worst that Karl Rove could dream up….I spent the last 8 yrs. listening to the right smear the Dems and the left with usubstantiated charges…lies, half-truths, sleazy rumor-mongering…all totally vile and filthy and …so now, you're all gonna get back into that filthy, soul-sucking swamp we just climbed out of??! For shame, you fucking half-wits. Go out and get yourselves some class.
Not a good choice of takes for the ad, but otherwise a non-issue.
There are plenty of other reasons to go with Martin besides drumming up B.S. I'm w/Tom Brown on this one.

I don't think he's being intentionally…um…perverse, but… you can't look away. It's right there, centre screen. It's like 'hmm… yeah… WHOA! he didn't just OMIGOD STOP!'
This is a case where the director just ballsed out of telling the guy in front of his extended family that he would have to shoot again because in that take he looked like a peodophile.
In all honesty, I feel sorry for him. I reckon someone at his campaign should have protected him from being put in this position.
