Hannity and Colmes: Now With Even Less Colmes
I know it's hard to imagine Fox News' finest daily hour, Hannity and Colmes, without imagining Alan Colmes' loud pounding voice laying down strong liberal values and upbraiding the mild-mannered Sean Hannity for mouthing all his conservative talking points, but I guess we're just gonna have to get used to it.
Colmes is leaving the show at the end of the year…
"I approached Bill Shine (FNC's Senior Vice President of Programming) earlier this year about wanting to move on after 12 years to develop new and challenging ways to contribute to the growth of the network," Colmes said in a statement. "Although it's bittersweet to leave one of the longest marriages on cable news, I'm proud that both Sean (Hannity) and I remained unharmed after sitting side by side, night after night for so many years."
Sean Hannity said Colmes was "a remarkable co-host," "great friend," and "skillful debate partner."
No word yet on who — if anyone — will be taking Alan Colmes' place beside Sean Hannity.

FOX decided today in a closed door meeting to cancel the Hannity show next year after sweeps. They want to move in a different direction. They feel Hannity president bashing is not going to go over well with one of the most popular demo presidents. They are already rec push back from even their conservative audience. Colmes the tip off earlier this year when it was apparent Obama was going to win, Colmes is now going to distance himself so he can have a new role in the Demo media and not seen as a basher. This is a good thing. Maybe Hannity can get someone that respects other peoples opinions. I would like to see a person with a better personality. In my opinion Alan Colmes was very nasty. He is entitled to his opinion but he did not have to be Mr. Nasty

Colmes as Mr. Nasty, …seriously? - ROFLMAO - he was by far the lamest smarmy lackluster Liberal media rep ever - which is why most of the staunch Repugs thought it proves their faux news is fair and balanced. Maybe Angie hasn't seen the voting - the rest of us are hoping that a loaf of rye bread will be more entertaining.

Hannity and Mooney! Talk about ratings!
plus, Colmes was the obvious choice because a) he's funny looking (a subliminal disadvantage to Hannity) and b) he is consireably less aggresive than Hannity. Fox knew what they were doing…
