Bill O'Reilly on The Daily Show: UNCUT!

POSTED BY: Dennis DiClaudio

I know what you're thinking. That Bill O'Reilly clip from The Daily Show came oh so close to fulfilling my recommended daily intake of douchebaggery, but it just wasn't quite enough. And I really don't want to have to go dig up a clip of Sean Hannity on YouTube this close to the weekend.

Well, fret no more. Because here's an uncut version of Bill O and Jon S's conversation from last night…

  2. Bill is half right on the traditional history of America. While it does progress eventually, America is usually dragged kicking and screaming toward progress. It happened for womens sufferage, it happened for the Civil Rights Movement, it happened for slavery, and it will happen for gay marriage.

  3. About Jon being "stoned" if he visited center-right America is B.S. I live in Arizona, in an area that votes red every election including this last one. If Jon came down to host a show here, he would be excepted by everyone. Not everyone in America is as close minded as Fox. We are not so fixed on a party, like they think we are. We have brains and our own opinions. So Jon I would like to invite you to host a show in Red America, come out to ASU or Phoenix and you will sell out any size arena for your stand up.

  4. Bill O'Reiley is an a$$, he thinks he knows what he is talking about and never lets anyone speak. Anyone that has a brain and thinks for themselves, he talks down to them. I love that Jon always manages to remain funny, classy and smart, yet puts him in his place.

  6. The reason The Daily Show is so popular is because, like most Americans, the host not only speaks, but listens to.
So called "serious" talking-head shows ( both liberal or conservative) are selling a product that relies on manipulating how their audience thinks.
As far as Bill O'Reilly goes, he will morph his approach into whatever it takes to keep his rating high enough to succeed. He has developed his fear-based persona as a way to make lots of money. Let's face it, hate and fear always draws a paying audience.

  7. O'Reilly's insisting that people in Alabama would "stone" Stewart … that's not very complimentary to the good folk of Alabama (or any other people in "center-right America").

  8. Is Bill O'Reilly really this character, or is it just the one he plays on TV? He seems like the most amazing performance artist ever! "This is a panda!" is delivered with the same certainty as any other assertion he made.

How can anyone live, let alone be on TV everyday, with this madness dominating their thoughts? The man must be utterly insane.

  9. Hey A-holes. How is Olbermann doing in the ratings? Oh yeah, what ratings? O'Reilly ROCKS THE HOUSE!! And Glenn Beck will be coming to Fox in January so the ass-kicking can continue. Disband MSNBC now… call a "mercy" rule or something or just put on the show "cops" 24/7. That network sucks. Billy and the boys crush everyone… and so does Greta. CNN and MSNBC?? Great for insomnia.

  10. Bill O'Riley can't be more wrong about stoning Jon Stewart. American people are decent people. However, I think it was just his opinion. He created an imaginery verbal form of abuse for Jon Stewart since he can't physically hit Jon Stewart. He got really mad because Jon was beating him with his eloquence.
