I'm sorry, but I'm tired of hearing the same old jokes about Caucasians, it's lame and by far contradicting what afrian/amerians stand for. For the record its history get over it. Everyone gets shit.

The Chocolate News is a terrible show. The writing is bad, DAG (David Allen Grier is too over-the-top in his acting, and the skits can get down right offensive at times.
Hopefully the show gets new writers to actually make it funny or it gets canceled in favor of something new. One can understand the niche it's trying to replace, racial comedy in news style ala Colbert Report and Daily Show, but it just failed.
Seriously though, it's the only show where I've made it a point to avoid.
This show is completely ignorant and offensive. The host is insufferable, the skits are unbearable and overacted, the production looks cheap, and the name itself acts as a giant warning label to anyone expecting anything decent. I wouldn't even know this show existed had I not been forced to sit through 5 minutes of the intro. The network must be desperate to put out boring, stupid, tired stuff like this. News flash: this show and it's jokes and it's host, all of it…it's NOT witty. It's plain, unoriginal jokes told and acted in a melodramatic manner. Please take this off the air. Not even black people (myself included) approve of it. You aren't even reaching the intended audience, and whoever does like this is obviously a fan of cheap humor. Why don't you give black people, and ALL of your audience, a little credit. Put out something smart, something funny, something new and innovative and engaging. See how that does instead of this garbage. I'm hugely disappointed (not that I was expecting anything good from a show titled "Chocolate News" in the first place). I'm glad to see the rest of the comments agree; maybe there's some hope for my generation after all, if they're not simple enough to buy into this cheap trash.

David Alan Grier's best performance was in a little 1995 flick named Jumanji that you may remember, but he reached his peak. You can't even compare him to Chappelle becuase there is no comparison… If this is honestly an attempt to make another Chappelle Show just becuase he's black it is disgusting. Chappelle is a comedic genius and this guy just acts plain stupid, being what he is. Cancel this show now.
honestly, the only funny skit in the entire show is the yeah hoes yeah bitch skit, and even then most of it is shit, only funny thing about it is when he says yeah hoe yeah bitch, And that is the only show i watched of it so far, the other episodes seem bland and not even offensive but an attempt at being offensive. comedy central should do itself a favor and just pay Dave nothing so he feels no guilt at coming back, sarcasm. but seriously even when i see a commercial for chocolate news i change the channel.
The worst thing i have ever seen unwatchable when has this guy ever been funny never. Please get somebody that can pull this off wow this is garbage

i never took DAG for such an ignorant person…i mean if he's going to make jokes about "white people not shutting up" about marilyn monroe…and elvis presley…and call them terrible actors and saying monroe wasn't and isn't still one of the biggest sex symbols in the world…I mean fuck his ignorant ass…seriously..his jokes suck in the first place…but most of the seem to have subliminal meanings about his own personal agenda..fuck him, i cant wait to see this show off the air..
