Dems Give Barack Obama a $5 Million Birthday Present, But No Ponies
It can't be easy to shop for Barack Obama, who celebrated his birthday yesterday — I mean, what do you get the guy who's already had his face turned into a lollipop?
Resourceful Democrats in Massachusetts put their heads together last night, though, and came up with a nice surprise to give Barack at his birthday party: $5 million…
The event, which raised money for the Obama Victory Fund, a joint account in which donors give both to Obama and the Democratic National Committee, was held in the ritzy State Room at 60 State Street. It began with a reception for 850 donors that have contributed $1,000 or more and then there was a smaller dinner for 250 people that have raised at least $15,000 per person or $28,500 per couple. The event raised almost $5 million dollars, making it the most successful political fundraiser ever held in Boston.
Gosh, that does sound festive! But no birthday party is complete without games, and at Obama's shindig, supporters outside broke into a spontaneous round of Capture the Clinton Supporter…
Robyn Miller was the lone Clinton protester outside. She identified herself as a "PUMA," which stands for "Party Unity My Ass." In particular, Miller protested the Democratic National Committee's decision on how to award Michigan's primary delegates.
"I was out on the streets the days after the 2000 election protesting the stolen votes then," said Miller, 49, referring to the voting controversy in Florida that year. "I would be a hypocrite not to protest this. You can't just take people's votes and hand them to people."
Miller held a bright yellow sign that read, "Selected Not Elected," and was quickly engulfed by Obama supporters. Lots of yelling ensued and one Obama supporter ripped her sign in half while another stood next to her holding a brown paper bag that had "IDIOT" written on it with an arrow pointing towards Miller.
Luckily for Miller, the Obama crowd had brought their own pinata.

I think if we threw airhead self-loathing Kia into a pit of young vile male thugs not even the beautifully muscled and tattooed (way before the hip cult youth got into tattoos) veteran who taught the Boston thugs a lesson would waste his cane to walk over and disperse the rabid young pups. After all, her loss would be none to either women or society in general.
Well, they shouldn't have touched the relic or her sign, but she deserved a healthy dose of verbal abuse. Like every other Hillary hold-out, she wants to put her misandry ahead of the best interests of this country. I'm glad Clinton's sexist campaign failed, and I hope we call all put the do-nothing Clintons behind us very soon.
All voices in a free society should be heard. Ripping up the protesters sign was bad form.
Furthermore I would like to apologize to zee and the other retar… mentally discombobulated distributors of Sour Grape Kool-Aid. I was foolish to make light of the situation on a comedy web site.

Why isn't his staff and his supporters, holding his feet to the fire on that alone?
Just three debates he's agreed to give — gives him plenty of latitude to bone up on what he doesn't know about this country, and all the issues we face.
Watch for wires and hidden devices to help him get through the debates.
His refusal to Townhall Meetings doesn't assure him the space he needs to twist and turn — hem and haw his answers — so he's playing it safe and just agreeing to the three that are mandatory before the GE.
I hope he realizes that just having the three debates will put more pressure on him to perform — spreading the debates out gives him a better chance of excelling in at least one of the Townhall Debates — three strikes and he's out if he sticks to only three debates.
He's painting himself into a corner again. He just doesn't know what is good for him — and his staff is also delusional — they set have him up for failure faster than Obama does on his own.
