Barack Obama Will Drink Your Superdelegate's Milkshake

POSTED BY: CubbyChaser

According to whoever it is at ABC News with the unenviable job of trying to keep track of which delegates and which superdelegates are with which candidate, Barack Obama has just surpassed Hillary Clinton in one of the only categories in which he was trailing…

Sen. Obama, D-Ill., picked up two superdelegates this morning giving him a new metric to tout in addition to his current commanding leads in pledged delegates, popular votes, states won, and money raised.

Rep. Donald Payne, D-N.J., switched his endorsement from Clinton to Obama and Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Ore., endorsed Obama. DeFazio was previously uncommitted. With these endorsements, Obama has the support of 267 superdelegates and Clinton has 265 superdelegates.

Be that as it may, Clinton still leads in the all important "intangibles" category.

  1. Hillary announces her break from the DNC and the launch of her own political splinter group… The Pity Party. Rumor has it the mascot has already been chosen… a cockroach in a yellow and black pantsuit. Pity Party chairperson Ferarro said of the mascot, "we liked the survivability aspect of the cockroach and the fact that is was the insect her base was most familiar with."

  2. I just have to say that practicing Republican tactics makes you the same as the people who drove you to vote in the first place. You are doing exactly what they desired you to do.

  3. Independents aren't necessarily affiliated with any party. It means you can vote for any party.

  4. Emmi, how does someone sign up as an independent, since there are a number of other small parties? Or do you mean to just withdraw your name from the Democratic Party? Since my state has already had its primary, I was going to withdraw from the party now but I do agree that a mass exodus during a particular timeframe would have more of an impact. I know people in both FL & MI who feel the same way. I will pass you message on to them.

  6. Well, I have to admit that I am still a Hillary supporter, in spite of everything. But, I have committed myself to voting for the Democratic nominee in the fall. I did struggle with this for some time. But after investigating McSame, I cannot cast my vote in that direction. I don't like Michelle O…I think she is definitely hiding her real emotions about many things. I don't believe she is sincere or honest. But, Barack does stand for many issues to put this country on the correct path. And in spite of the constant bombarding of Democratic voters this time around, I am a Democrat. And I will stand up for my party in the fall. We need to conquer this "Great Divide" and come together for the good of our country! It is what it is…and what it is…Americans' futures & their children's future. I'm pleading with Dems to cease & desist with the "Civil War". God Bless America!

  7. I have a better idea! Join the movement for a mass defection from the DNC, by switching to Independent or no-party. The defection is happening JUNE 1-8.

The DNC has received thousands and thousands of phone calls, emails and letters threatening to leave the party. The arrogant bastards just blow it off as "emotional responses to the passion for their candidates" and shamelessly repeat- "oh, they'll (the sheeple) come home in November". I urge all supporters of Hillary and those who are fed up with the DNC and their unabashed agenda to nominate Obama to make a STRONG impact- something much more effective than threats!

There are millions of Hillary Clinton supporters who will not support the coronation of Obama, against the will of the people. Especially without FL and MI being counted AND having a say in the nomination (not just seated like HD wants! No, No, NO- God bless America!).

Join the mass defection JUNE 1-8 and register as an Independent. REMEMBER- Independents are permitted to vote ANY party they choose in the General Election.

There is a special note to FL and MI voters, and to voters who have not had their primaries yet.

GO HERE and JOIN THE FIGHT!

  8. But then again, ABC is the *only* source declaring Obama ahead using this "imperfect science" that is counting.
